Job Summary
The Program Coordinator supports day-to-day program operations, activity coordination, and partner liaisons to ensure efficient delivery of WoN’s initiatives on the ground.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Activity Coordination (50%)
- Organize workshops, training, and community events (e.g., financial literacy sessions, WASH campaigns).
- Monitor field activities to ensure alignment with work plans and budgets.
Partner & Community Engagement (30%)
- Liaise with local partners and women’s groups to facilitate program participation.
- Collect community feedback for adaptive program improvements.
Administrative & Reporting Support (20%)
- Maintain program databases (e.g., beneficiary tracking, activity reports).
- Assist in drafting donor updates and success stories.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in NGO program coordination, preferably in women’s empowerment.
- Fieldwork experience in Tanzania (e.g., rural/urban communities).
- Skills:
- Fluent Swahili and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox).
- Basic budgeting and logistics management.
